Mr. Jones was admitted to practice law in New Jersey in May 2005, and has served two judicial clerkships in the Bergen County Family Division: first for the Honorable Harold C. Hollenbeck, J.S.C.; then for the Honorable Edward V. Torack, J.S.C.  Mr. Jones has served as the Assistant Public Defender for the Borough of Montvale, New Jersey (now the Pascack Joint Municipal Court), as a Panelist for the Matrimonial Early Settlement Panel programs in Bergen, Morris and Essex Counties, and on the District IIB Fee Arbitration Committee.  Currently, Mr. Jones is a Barrister in the Barry I. Croland Family Law Inns of Court and a former Trustee of the Morris County Bar Association.  Mr. Jones has been recognized as “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers Magazine from 2011 through 2015.

Mr. Jones was born in Washington, D.C.  He received a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland, College Park, and his Juris Doctorate from Rutgers University – Camden.  Prior to attending Law School, Mr. Jones served as congressional staff to the Honorable Solomon P. Ortiz (TX-27).
