OUR COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION LAW ATTORNEYS REPRESENT COOPERATIVE APARTMENT CORPORATIONS, CONDOMINIUM ASSOCIATIONS, HOMEOWNER ASSOCIATIONS AND REAL ESTATE DEVELOPERS.

The attorneys at Meyerson, Fox & Conte, P.A. serve as counsel to numerous community associations throughout Northern New Jersey, helping the associations navigate through and comply with applicable laws and regulations as well as their own governing documents.  The firm also prosecutes and defends lawsuits on behalf of the associations, and reviews and prepares contracts for various repair and renovation projects.  Our attorneys’ commitment to community associations extends beyond routine legal matters.  By way of example, our firm’s practice chair, Louis J. Verde, Esq., enlisted the efforts of a local Unites States Congressman to request Fannie Mae to revise its guidelines for loans to purchasers of cooperative units in New Jersey and sat on the committee to monitor the program.

Meyerson, Fox & Conte, P.A. also represents real estate developers in all facets of the construction or conversion of planned real estate developments, including representation for construction or permanent financing, preparing and filing the application (including the public offering statement) with the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs, closing unit sale transactions and assisting clients through the transition process when control of the community association passes from the developer to the resident owners.
