On December 5th, RMFMC&B attorneys, Lawrence Meyerson and Andrew Bolson, Bergen County criminal defense and immigration attorney, Jeffrey Steinfeld, and Borough of Hillsdale Police Sergeant, Adam Hampton, led a public policy discussion for Brook Alexander’s class at Pascack Hills and for Jeff Jasper’s class at Pascack Valley. The discussion was intended to engage students on relevant constitutional law issues. Topics included the recent grand jury decisions in Ferguson, Missouri and in New York City, the Ray Rice case and privacy issues on the Internet. Lawrence Meyerson, the former President of the Pascack Valley Regional School District and Jeffrey Steinfeld, the current President of the Pascack Regional School District, have been jointly leading constitutional law discussions for the high schools for several years.
